Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 30, 2026
Last Updated: June 30, 2026

Awakening of Her Sanctuary LLC (“Awakening of Her,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) understands that personal growth can involve deeply personal information. We are committed to handling that information with care, transparency, and respect.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Awakening of Her mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”); how and why we use it; when it may be shared; how long it is retained; and the choices and rights available to you.

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Depending on how you use the Service, you may provide:

  • your name, email address, authentication credentials, and account information;

  • onboarding answers, preferences, and responses about what you want from the Service;

  • journal entries, written reflections, affirmations, goals, habits, routines, and personal-growth responses;

  • vision-board images and other images you choose to upload;

  • mood ratings and feedback about how you feel before and after daily practices;

  • support requests, feature suggestions, survey responses, and beta feedback; and

  • notification and communication preferences.

Authentication is provided through Firebase Authentication and may include email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In. When you use Apple or Google, we may receive your name, email address, provider-specific account identifier, and other information you authorize that provider to share. We do not have access to your plaintext Apple, Google, or email-account password.

Content and images you choose to submit are stored so we can provide the features you request. We do not sell this content or use it for advertising. We process it only as described in this Privacy Policy, including as necessary to operate, secure, support, and comply with legal obligations relating to the Service. You retain ownership of the content and images you upload.

Activity and Progress Information

We collect information about your use of the Service, including:

  • practices and pillars you honor or complete;

  • selected daily duration and ritual settings;

  • symbolic Inner Wealth earned and accumulated;

  • daily, weekly, and monthly progress, streaks, and completion history;

  • dates and times of activity; and

  • app feature usage and interactions.

Subscription and Transaction Information

If you start a trial or subscription through Apple, we may receive subscription status, product and plan identifiers, trial eligibility, purchase and renewal dates, transaction or receipt identifiers, and related entitlement information. Apple processes payment and payment-card details. Awakening of Her does not collect or store your full payment-card number.

Technical, Analytics, and Diagnostic Information

We and our service providers may automatically collect limited information needed to operate, secure, understand, and improve the Service, including:

  • device type, operating system, language, app version, and general configuration;

  • app-instance, installation, device, authentication, and push-notification identifiers;

  • Internet Protocol address and general connection information;

  • session, feature-interaction, and general usage information;

  • authentication events, performance measurements, crash reports, stack traces, diagnostic details, and error information; and

  • notification delivery and token-refresh information.

Crash and diagnostic information may be associated with your account identifier so we can identify and troubleshoot problems affecting your account. We do not use this information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Information Stored on Your Device

The Service uses local device storage, including Apple-provided app storage and Flutter SharedPreferences, to remember settings and support continuity. Depending on your use, locally stored information may include ritual duration, completion status, progress dates, habit or routine status, and unsaved journal or knowledge drafts. This information remains on the device unless cleared by the Service, logout, account cleanup, operating-system behavior, or deletion of the App. Deleting local app data does not by itself delete information stored in your cloud account.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, HealthKit information, or data about other apps installed on your device. We do not use advertising SDKs or track your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • create, authenticate, secure, and manage your account;

  • provide and personalize your guided daily experience;

  • save entries, uploaded images, onboarding responses, preferences, and progress;

  • calculate and display Inner Wealth, streaks, and other progress information;

  • measure changes in self-reported mood when you choose to provide ratings;

  • manage trials, subscription access, entitlements, and purchase restoration;

  • send requested reminders, service messages, and beta updates;

  • respond to support requests and feedback;

  • maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors, analyze performance, and improve the Service; and

  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use journal entries, reflections, vision-board images, mood ratings, or onboarding responses for third-party advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Sensitive and Personal Content

The Service allows you to record highly personal reflections and wellness-related information. Awakening of Her is a personal-growth and wellness product, not a medical, mental-health, therapeutic, or emergency service.

Your entries and mood ratings are self-reported. They are not monitored for medical, mental-health, safety, or emergency purposes, and the Service does not detect or respond to crises or emergencies. If you are experiencing an emergency or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource immediately.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share personal information only in the limited circumstances described below and only to the extent necessary for the applicable purpose.

  • Service providers: We use providers that support authentication, databases, cloud file storage, hosting, notifications, analytics, performance monitoring, diagnostics, subscription processing, and related infrastructure. They may process information only to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by their applicable terms and law.

  • Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and the integrity of the Service.

  • Business transactions: If Awakening of Her is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and this Privacy Policy.

  • At your direction: We may disclose information when you explicitly request or authorize us to do so.

We require service providers that process personal information on our behalf to provide the same or an equivalent level of protection described in this Privacy Policy and required by applicable law, and to process the information only for authorized purposes.

Third-party podcasts, videos, websites, platforms, or other external content are governed by the third party's privacy practices once you interact with or leave the Service.

5. Service Providers

The Service currently uses:

  • Google Firebase, including Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring, for account access, cloud data and file storage, app infrastructure, notifications, usage analytics, diagnostics, and performance monitoring;

  • Apple, for Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, subscription transactions, trial and entitlement information, and purchase restoration;

  • Google, for Google Sign-In and related authentication services; and

  • external content platforms that you choose to open, such as YouTube, Spotify, Notion, or linked websites.

These providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Their processing is also governed by their own privacy notices and contractual obligations.

6. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information:

  • to perform our contract with you and provide the Service;

  • with your consent, including for optional notifications and user-selected uploads;

  • for legitimate interests such as securing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the Service, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and

  • to comply with legal obligations and protect legal rights.

You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Some information is necessary to maintain an account or provide requested features; if you ask us to stop processing it, those features or your account may no longer be available.

7. Data Retention

We retain account information and User Content while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the Service. Individual entries and uploads may remain until you delete them or delete your account.

When you delete your account, we delete or deidentify account-associated personal information from active systems unless limited retention is reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement. Subscription transaction records may remain with Apple and may be retained by us where needed for accounting, purchase verification, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Encrypted backups, security logs, crash reports, installation identifiers, and diagnostic records may remain for a limited period under normal provider retention and backup cycles. They are not used to recreate a deleted account except where necessary for disaster recovery, security, or legal compliance. Firebase publishes separate retention periods for certain diagnostic and installation data.

During beta testing, features and data practices may change as we improve the Service. We will update this Privacy Policy before materially different practices take effect where required.

8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You can use available in-app controls to correct account information, delete individual content, delete your account, manage push notifications, and opt out of marketing communications. You can also contact us to request access to, correction of, or a copy of your personal information.

Additional rights apply where provided by law, including rights to request deletion or portability, withdraw consent, object to or restrict certain processing, appeal a decision, or complain to an appropriate data-protection authority.

Submit requests through available in-app controls or contact hello@awakeningofher.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right, although some requests may be subject to lawful exceptions.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account directly within the App or contact hello@awakeningofher.com for assistance. Account deletion includes account-associated cloud data and uploaded files, subject to the limited retention described above.

Deleting the App from your device does not automatically delete your account or cloud information. Deleting your Awakening of Her account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions must be managed through your Apple Account settings.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information, including access controls and encryption provided by our infrastructure providers. No electronic system, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Protect your account by using a strong, unique password and keeping login information and your device confidential.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older and is not directed to minors. We do not intentionally solicit personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a person under 18 has provided personal information through the Service, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information and close the associated account. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact hello@awakeningofher.com.

12. United States State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable law, including rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and to receive information about how it is processed.

Awakening of Her does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for advertising purposes.

Submit requests through available in-app controls or by contacting hello@awakeningofher.com.

13. International Users and Transfers

If you access the Service from outside the United States, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your location.

Where required, we and our service providers rely on recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards. Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and similar jurisdictions may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, obtain portability, withdraw consent, and complain to their local supervisory authority.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves or as required by law. When changes are material, we will provide notice through the Service, by email, or through another appropriate method and obtain consent where required.

The "Last Updated" date above indicates when this Privacy Policy was most recently revised.
